DORM SUITES & CAMPUS TOWNHOUSE RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE WITH THE UNIVERSITY BY JULY 25 TH
The dorm suites at Pitt-Bradford contain 3 dbl bedrooms (each w/2 twin beds) +2 bathrooms + common area + kitchenette + AC. Prices are $40.00/person/double bedroom/ night; $53.50 /person/single bedroom/night; $155.50/night/entire suite. Townhouses (2 dbl + 1 single bedrooms, 1 bathroom, beds, living room, kitchenette, AC) are available @ $22.50/person/night/double bedroom; $44.50/night/single bedroom; $125.50 /night/ entire townhouse. NO FRILLS PACKAGE: Townhouse (maximum occupancy 9) no bed linens, towels, or pillows; only toilet paper provided) entire townhouse $75.00/night. There are other options …so discuss with Jen. You may bring your own sleeping bags for young children; in this case, bring their own towels and pillows; maximum capacity for dorm suites is 9 and for townhouses, 7. Reunion Rules:
All rules are strictly enforced
so as to make the reunion a pleasant time for all….including parents!!!
Please find in this packet a Youth Conduct Contract that we ask
all youths (under the age of 19) and their parents to sign
and return with their registration forms to the LIMIAR office .
• Parents are expected to supervise their children and are reminded that they are responsible for the actions of their children. Parents are expected to pay full restitution for any damages caused by their children (whether intentional or not.) including lost dorm keys. Any infractions in the game room and/or equipment will result in that child being unable to use the game room for the remainder of the weekend. Any broken equipment (because of misuse) must be paid for by the family of the responsible child.
• A curfew of 12:00 midnight has been set for everyone.
• Please respect the privacy and needs of families around you: walk in the hallways, don’t run, and please keep your voices down in the early morning and in the evening. Others may be sleeping. Respect the college’s request for indoor conduct: no running or rough housing.
• For scheduled activities, it is expected that once parents/children arrive for an activity, they will remain for the entire scheduled time. This will help give parents assurance that they know where their children are and what they are doing.
• Children, teens, and young adults are expected to attend all programming . Some activity will be happening at all times, and they are expected to attend and not go off in their private directions.
• No alcohol, no drugs…period. Modest dress required: no low-cut shorts or jeans; no midriffs shown on girls; no negative wording on shirts. Smoking can be in done in designated areas only and not in general settings.
• Enforcement of these rules can extend to requiring someone not in compliance to leave the reunion.

HIGHLIGHTS OF REUNION 2008
VARIETY SHOW! We had such great fun last year…and look forward to seeing some more great LIMIAR talent. Don’t be shy! Music/dance/skits/magic/comedy…you name it, we want to experience it! We’ll repeat our “best dressed LIMIAR mom or dad” competition!
THE AMAZING RACE – LIMIAR STYLE! You’ve seen it on TV…now come to Bradford and compete for yourself! Teens and young adults, be prepared to get a bit tired (and perhaps messy)…and come fired up for the team competition.
Love and Logic Training DVD’s and Discussion Groups for Parents : Our very own Pam O’Briant is a facilitator and will be working along with other LIMAR parents to provide morning and afternoon seminars and discussion groups; parents coming together to learn and share ideas / strategies with one another for raising our children.
FESTA JUNINA de Sao Joao! A celebration of this Brasilian June Festival for the younger children.
CAPOEIRA: Do we have anyone within the LIMIAR family who could teach some capoiera? We’ll provide the percussion and CD’s.
CLUB LIMIAR : It was such a big hit last year, we’re bringing it back! Club-style entertainment for our teens and young adults after the Friday night dance! It includes the game room, various other options for games, Brasilian music, and some great snacks! (And you can keep dancing, if you’d like!)
Friday Night D.J. Dance with Dylan Stone Sound and Lights. Ed and Evelyn will be back for a fun night of dancing. This year, we may try to learn a bit of FORRO, with our own Luciana Matson teaching us the steps!
Doug Hollida’s Ecumenical Worship Service . Inter-denominational service led by Doug Hollida, a Methodist minister and father of two Brasilian sons. Doug provides a reflective and inspiring time for all. Coffee is even provided to help wake you up!
The 50/50 Raffle Drawing will give some lucky person 50% of the sales while the other 50% goes to the needs of our orphanage - CASA LIMIAR in Sao Paulo. The greatest success with this fundraiser is to sell tickets in your community before you come! Prize to top-seller! Roll-up your sleeves and get selling! Money and slips can be sent to LIMIAR: USA , 111 Broken Bough, San Antonio , TX 78231 , or you may bring them to the reunion. The last page of this packet has one sheet of raffle tickets for you to use to make as many copies as you’d like.
Lojas Brasil ( the infamous mini-mart). This mini-shopping experience is worth saving your money for! You’ll find a variety of items…from Brasilian candy/cookies/guarana to music, clothes, crafts!
Doni’s Silent Auction : The auction has raised hundreds of dollars over the years and has proven to be a great financial benefit to LIMIAR. Bring new or gently used sports equipment, Brasilian objects, crafts, gently used items. Start your collection now!
Yes, we’ll have our traditional soccer and volleyball games, Saturday afternoon “American picnic” and evening Brasilian feast, and our bonfire !

• The reunion begins Friday at noon with a variety of “mixer” activities throughout the day and evening. All registrants will receive a schedule of weekend events through email prior to the reunion.
